A Rising Generation inspired by virtuous thought and reasoning orchestrates a venue appealing to all seeking equally esteeming beliefs and empirical values...
Courageously engaged on ideas and manners of principles. The following are simply opinions of individual writers...
Love of nations endowed by certain liberty, freedom and individual rights, the teenagers of realms living within exceptional circumstances ask nothing more than for their peers elsewhere to share similarly equal conditions of individualism and independence as well... © purpleteen.com
Thriving on hostility, there are anarchist elements of society who disguise their goals of upheaval as Progressivism. They imagine themselves as revolutionary Bolsheviks who will usher in the first example of perfect Communism, no matter the violence it may necessitate. Perceived as aides to equality, genuine sincerity is totally lacking in the opportunistic deluders who co-opt humanitarian advancement for their own satisfaction... © purpleteen.com
In some of our classrooms are teachers who impose political ideologies on students who couldn't care less about their inane ramblings and would rather focus on maintaining an appropriate GPA for college acceptance. Of course there are plenty of respect-worthy teachers who we love, but it's the unabashed sense of self-superiority which a select few posses that becomes problematic. When educators abuse their power dynamic or position of trust to strike fear into students to advance their agenda, is it any wonder teenagers and young persons in general distrust their superiors? Disappointingly, it seems we can expect even more favoritism and extreme politicization of the classroom from college professors as well... © purpleteen.com
Freedom of the press was by design meant to strengthen and support a constitutional republic. In essence, its virtuous purpose was to ensure that we the people are informed with unadulterated truth and allowed to reason upon the facts at hand by means of free thought. Purposely undermining public dialogue, conventional mainstream media propagates ideology-driven misinformation to control viewer sentiment. Somewhat counterbalancing this, news can be relayed directly from people at the ground zero of any event, with exception to tyrannic, governmental blackouts of cellular and internet connections. Greatly important, an informed public is a vital component of any exceptional nation... © purpleteen.com
Stop this nonsensical mentality of attempting to forcefully herd unwilling Cats! When trying to change hearts and minds alike, one only needs to draw contrast between negative governmental policies and the positive thoughts developed by its inhabitants demanding accountability of their elected leaders... © purpleteen.com
"I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal'... I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today..." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Those exceptional architects of the United States Constitution created a certain remedy for tyrannical overreach by devising three governmental branches, namely Executive, Judicial and Legislative. Albeit, such protective measures continue to slowly be undermined, producing an unequal balance of powers. Summarily, Article Five of the Constitution allows a brilliant parachute where besides Congress making Amendments, three-fourths of the states themselves can hold a convention to propose Constitutional Amendments. Ultimately meaning anyone that yearns for liberty or change has an inalienable ability to enhance our Constitutionally derived structure through the process of ratification... © purpleteen.com
"In static societies, societies which make the maintenance of established custom their measure of value, this conception applies in the main. But not in progressive communities. They endeavor to shape the experiences of the young so that instead of reproducing current habits, better habits shall be formed, and thus the future adult society be an improvement on their own..." John Dewey
Foremost to the government's Constitutional role of protecting its citizenry, A.K.A. we the people, it should be of every U.S. citizen's fundamental instinct to limit their government's often heavy-handed, overbearing control if she or he values prosperity, liberty and self-dependence alike... © purpleteen.com
"To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?" Marcus Tullius Cicero
With exception to a divine creator shedding perpetual grace about one's exceptional universe, there is no other republic truly comprising above-all virtue like these United States of America... © purpleteen.com
"If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress." Frederick Douglass
From the perspective of an American teen speaking for some, but certainly not all: we the Rising Generation firmly revere free-will individualism, collective unity, meaningful debate, expressive creativity, personal autonomy, equality for all, abounding perseverance and national sovereignty. –These gifts as a whole define America from other nations. We breathe freedom and our blood flows with liberty. We recognize that as humans we are imperfect, but strive to improve. We celebrate diversity and unalienable rights. We courageously stand up for those without voices. All awhile, we are united under principles of God, family, friendship, virtue, truth and last but not least, the belief we can leave this world a better home than how it was provided to us... © purpleteen.com
"Freedom of the mind requires not only, or not even specially, the absence of legal constraints but the presence of alternative thoughts. The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities..." Allan David Bloom
We stand strongly together or weakly unraveled, the citizenry of these United States of America should enduringly exist on nothing less than our constitutionally derived principles... © purpleteen.com
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction... It must be fought for, protected, and handed on..." President Ronald Wilson Reagan
Wake up –it doesn't take more than a sophomoric understanding of what's really taking place here. Wasn't shouting fire in a movie theater a crime? Listen up Federal Communications Commission, maybe that offensive act should apply to television media conglomerates too. Next time you witness the mainstream media circus declaring a breaking news story, take a respite to get a snack from the refrigerator. After all is said and done, this nonsensical hype probably isn't anything of real importance! Fear mongering is the general theme oftentimes generated from one's greywater pond where bottom feeding anecdotal journalists tend to dwell. With respect to occasional lighthearted satire (to prevent boredom creep), honesty and integrity is fundamental in terms of our commentary and news stories alike. Basically there's little pebble skipping on purpleteen's independently critical thinking picturesque golden pond. Indeed news reporters, commentators and journalists have ideological agendas or narratives that their demagoguery-minded corporate bosses are dictating what we the people need fully digest. Moreover, shame on you Comcast and AT&T-WarnerMedia corporations –you indeed are humbly in our thoughts and prayers. Purpleteen's repertoire of extraordinary journalists, commentators, writers and editors are collectively determined to provide readers fair and responsible journalism... © purpleteen.com
"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people, enable them to see that it is their interest to preserve peace and order, and they will preserve it, and it requires no very high degree of education to convince them of this. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty. After all, it is my principle that the will of the majority should prevail." President Thomas Jefferson
In one of the most inspiring speeches ever given by a public servant, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the greatest Democratic Party member said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Ever since that overflowing crowd gave their thunderous applause, times have drastically changed. If similar words were shared on the podium today, with obtuse jeering, shrill cat-calls and some curse words one shouldn't repeat, that ill-advised politician would be given a one way ticket through the rickety door of a cuckoo house! In summary, some of my besties are choosing to vote for Democrat affiliates and I'll be of voting age sooner than later as well. Sadly, there's a strong possibility we might part political ways... © purpleteen.com
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it." "Money never made a man happy yet, nor will it. There is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more a man has, the more he wants. Instead of its filling a vacuum, it makes one." Benjamin Franklin
"Peace through American strength." Let it be known friends and or foes, we are not a nation of cowards nor fools jeopardizing the homeland. However, it should not be these United States of America always policing another's certain turmoil. The world is comprised of sovereign nations, accordingly let themselves enforce one's own rule of law. Indeed to make better an exceptional nation –sacrificing ultimately the sacred blood of our very brothers and sisters alike. Alas we shall never forget the Civil War –could this be an appropriate example for all nations, generations and humanity alike, when forging their own governments? In essence, let others experience this hard fought evolutionary process as well... © purpleteen.com
"A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it." President John Adams
